2024 Special Needs Moms Retreat

All medical and special needs mommas encouraged to apply for a spot on our 2nd Annual Retreat. This all expenses paid trip is one of a kind. The beautiful Arrow Creek Lodge in Show Low boasts 6 bedrooms, bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a gym, sauna, fire pit, movie theater, hiking trails and so much more! Let yourself have respite and unwind while connecting with other like minded mothers.

Top consideration will be given to mothers that participate in either our 2024 All Abilities Marketplace and/or Great Arizona Lemonade Stand. Please register for those events on our website.

Requirements to attend include: being able to attend entire retreat and providing own transportation (carpooling will be available).

Special Needs Moms Retreat

The first ever FREE respite retreat will be exactly what you need to relax and recharge from the constant demands of caring for your child. You fellowship with other moms that understand exactly what you are going through while getting the self care you need. All meals and lodging are provided and some light activities are included. To apply you must participate in at least 2 other SSWI events before the date of the retreat. Applications will be on a lottery basis. Must provide own transportation.

Local Trade has picked Something So Worth It as their local charity beneficiary for their 2022 Mama’s Maker’s Market. This is a family friendly event where you can shop from local makers, enjoy love music, eat delicious food and benefit our cause. There will be many Raffle items you can bid on and all proceeds go to SSWI. Come have some fun!

This is a safe place for parents and caregiviers of children with disabilites to vent, listen, encourage and learn from one another. We truly gain the most knowledge from interacting with one another. Whether you are new to this special needs world, a seasoned veteran, or have lost a child- you belong here. Please let us treat you to dinner while you gain new friendships and community. The location is a atthe SSWI new office space. Event is first come, first serve and will be capped at 12 particiants.

Something So Worth It charity is hosting its 2nd annual event to create a heart of inclusion in the community. This family event has all children vendors, with and without disabilities. Support these charitable kids and encourage their talents while having fun with the entire family. There will be food trucks, Mama’s Cold Brew, mini horses, live musicians, a fire truck and more! Admission is free and the facility is accessible.
